THE CRYING GHOST

Durational performance

The installation consists in a fake wall covered with baroque wall paper with lateral velvet draping. In the center of the wall, there is a mirror with an elaborate golden frame. the mirror is like the ones used in police stations, with a hidden room behind it. With a phorocell, when the viewer approaches the mirror, a light turns on in the room behind, revealing a ghost (me). After a few seconds, the ghost starts to cry like a fountain. The light turns off again and the glass turns back into a mirror.
